How do I return an item?

Returning items is as easy as 1-2-3:

1) Sign in to your account and head to your Order History to get started.

2) Pull up your order, choose the parts you wish to return, and follow the easy prompts. Friendly tip: Uploading photos can speed up the process.

3) Select your return shipping option and hit 'Submit'.

You’ll receive email instructions on next steps within 24 hours.

Will I have to pay for return shipping?

Shipping costs will only be reimbursed if we made a shipping error or if the product was defective. Otherwise, we will charge 25% Restocking fee and will be deducted from your refund.


We’ll email you a return shipping label—just print it, place it on the box, and drop off the package at your nearest FedEx location.

 

 

When will I receive my refund?

We process refunds after receiving, inspecting, and clearing your returned items, usually within 7 days. Once processed, you'll get an email confirmation, and your refund will be issued to your original form of payment. Please allow 1 to 2 billing cycles for your financial institution to reflect the credit in your account.

What should I do if my order arrived damage, defective or incorrect?

If your order arrived damaged, defective, or incorrect, please reach out to our friendly Customer Service Team. We're here to find the best solution for you! 

For exchanges or replacements, we’ll guide you every step of the way. We may ask for photos or videos to help us understand the issue and determine the next steps together.

If your return is approved, we'll send you a prepaid return label. Once we receive the item, we’ll inspect it to confirm the defect or damage. We’ll quickly process your exchange or replacement. In some cases, you might not need to return the product, and we'll make the process as easy as possible.

What is a core charge? How do I return a core?

When you buy an aftermarket part, your purchase price may include a "core charge,” which is the deposit you pay for the core, or the recyclable component of that part. You can return the core to get that money back—just like recycling empty soda cans or plastic bottles!

If your old core is in reusable condition, please reach out to us via Live Chat for return instructions. Make sure to return the core with your original receipt within 30 days of receiving your replacement part, and please use your replacement part’s shipping box.

 

 

Is my product eligible for Lifetime Replacement?

Items purchased on NextAutoPart.com between Feb 17, 2022, and August 15, 2024, may be eligible for Lifetime Replacement. However, this doesn’t apply to custom-made products, or empty containers with contents that can’t be physically returned, including aerosols, fluids, liquid gaskets, and additives. 

Which items can’t be returned?

The following items are non-returnable:

  • Semi-universal catalytic converters
  • Service manuals (unless sealed)
  • Special-order of customer-made products
  • Consumables (like fluids or additives)
  • Painted parts
  • Modified parts
  • Opened or unsealed electric parts.

Any item purchased on NextAutoPart.com (unless noted as a non-returnable item below) must be returned within 30 days of delivery. All authorized returns must include all items and components that were included in the original package.

 

Upon receiving your order, please inspect all packages thoroughly for missing, damaged, or incorrect parts. If you receive a product with missing, damaged, or incorrect parts, please reach out to our Customer Service Team so we can assist you. We are not responsible for missing, damaged, or incorrect parts after 30 calendar days for all products, regardless of the party at fault. NextAutoPart.com is not responsible for lost or stolen packages and all such claims must be processed through the shipping company.
